Tears

PARTIAL rotator cuff tears are in the tissue connecting muscle to bone (tendons) and around the shoulder joint. Usually it is the supraspinatus muscle that tears.

COMPLETE rotator cuff tears is when the tendon is separated from the bone.

ACUTE rotator tears are usually associated with an injury.


DEGENERATIVE rotator cuff tears are usually associated with aging, repetitive movement from sports, poor posture and or muscular imbalances(which can be a result of improper training )

The pain from a minor rotator cuff injury often diminishes on its own with proper care. However, some rotator cuff disorders may get worse over time. Causing the loss of ROM and strength making it difficult to do daily activities
