Things to avoid while during recovery:

Over head activities

Reaching behind the back

Side lying on affected side

Horizontal adduction with shoulder in 90 degrees of external rotation with resistance


Modifications to observe:

Keep elevations at 70 degrees (or a pain free range)

Neutral or externally rotated positions
